The German Research Foundation (DFG) will fund a Research Training Group on Information Techniques for Precision Plant Protection in Agriculture and Horticulture

Description: at the Agricultural Faculty of the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms University of Bonn, Germany, for a second period. Doctorate-students will work in an interdisciplinary program covering the fields of Crop Production, Soil Sciences, Remote Sensing, Geo- Informatics, Herbology, Agricultural Engineering, Horticultural Sciences, Plant
Pathology and Crop Protection. Starting from October 2004 the Research Training Group 722 offers 10 Doctorate-Fellowships for candidates with above-average grades in relevant fields (agricultural sciences, informatics, geography, etc.) and not older than 28 years of age. Furthermore, there will be available 2 Postdoctorate-Fellowships for
highly qualified scientists age not above 35 years. Applications with current CV,copies of certificates and a short outline on the project of the Research Training Group selected are expected up to July 31, 2004 to the spokesman of the Research Training Group,
